Okanagan Regional Library - Lake Country Branch, #2-10150 Bottom Wood Lake Road (located inside the Municipal Hall). Don McNair explores Japanese settlement in the Central Okanagan in Lake Country Nikkei (1900-1950). He traces newcomers' resilience through mixed reception, hardship, and hope after WWII. Join Don to learn how the book came together and discover the experiences of Japanese Canadian Pioneers. Presented in partnership with the Lake Country Museum & Archives. FREE & Drop-in.
