Library, 1380 Ellis St, Kelowna BC. NITEO Family Reading Programs cultivate welcoming spaces for families to read and learn together. Priority registration is given to families who are newcomers to Canada. Each week we gather at a local library for a 1 hour program designed for parents and children to attend together. Parents and children (K-grade 6) are supported with their reading and conversational English learning goals through a combination of group activities and 1:1 time with volunteer Reading Mentors. Learning and literacy are made fun in this FREE program and it is our hope that as we gather around books and stories that moments are turned into lifelong memories!
