Kelowna Art Gallery, 1315 Water Street. Inuk artist Tarralik Duffy explores identity, memory, and contemporary Inuit life in Sugar Rush. She blends humour, pop culture, and traditional stories together to create visually engaging and accessible works. Exploring the medium of soft sculpture, Duffy uses her textile skills to produce oversized versions of familiar objects such as soda cans, jerry cans, or canned luncheon meat. Her installations invite the audience to connect with Inuit perspectives in thoughtful and compelling ways..
