Municipal Candidates Meet and Greet Night

Join the North Okanagan Labour Council on the evening of Sunday September 27 for an opportunity to connect with municipal candidates running for city council, regional district, and school district positions in the Kelowna and surrounding area. For the Public: Free Admission Doors will open at 6pm and there is no need to register in advance. To provide you the most free time to connect with your candidates, programming for the evening is informal with a brief welcome from our President Rob Austin. Rotating Candidate spotlights will occur every 5 to 10 minutes throughout the evening giving candidates a few moments to deliver short prepared speeches at their tables. The schedule of the spotlights will be in your program. The majority of the evening outside of that will be self-directed by participants with plenty of opportunity to talk to who they wish! Light snacks and refreshments will be available. Please note the venue is wheelchair accessible and parking is sometimes limited downtown.
