The story
About Burrowing Owl Estate Winery
Founder Jim Wyse began replanting the vineyards in 1993, and a winery license was obtained in 1997. Construction was completed in 1998. The winery is a gravity-flow winemaking facility in a 140-acre vineyard, with the Sonora Room Restaurant and an 11-room Guest House. The vineyards lie near the north end of Osoyoos Lake on a southwest-tilting, sandy plateau.
